Delivery & Payment

Where it accepts your order, Button-Bunny will deliver the Goods to you as soon as reasonably possible, but no later than 30 (thirty) days of receipt of your payment (“Delivery Period”). We will notify you if we are unable to deliver the Goods during the Delivery Period. You may then, within 7 (seven) days of receiving such notification elect whether or not to cancel your order for the Goods. If you elect to cancel your order, we will reimburse you for the purchase price.

Button-Bunny’s obligation to deliver a product to you is fulfilled when we deliver the product to the physical address nominated by you for delivery of the order.

Button-Bunny is not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of a product, after it has delivered the product to the physical address nominated by you.

All orders will be executed within one calendar month of receipt thereof, excepting over the Christmas and New Year period when the factory is closed for business.

Once processed, delivery of the ordered goods will be effected by Fastway or any other reputable Courier Company/South African Post Office chosen from time to time by “BUTTON-BUNNY”. Furthermore, “BUTTON-BUNNY” warrants that the ordered goods will arrive at your chosen delivery address in good order and, subject to clause 4 below, within a reasonable time, on condition that you have provided us with the correct delivery address.

In the event that you request that the goods will be delivered to an area that is not serviced by Fastway or the Courier Company selected by “BUTTON-BUNNY” from time to time, “BUTTON-BUNNY” will ensure that the delivery will be made by Registered Post direct to the delivery address, alternatively, to the nearest possible location to you that Fastway may deliver to.

In addition to the above, the delivery of the goods is subject to Section 46 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, No. 25 of 2002. and therefore Section 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008 does not apply to the rights in respect of delivery of goods or the supply of services.

Additional Information

Whilst every effort is made to send out orders as soon as possible, please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery of your goods. Each order is custom-made for our customers.

You have a choice of delivery method, these options are clearly shown prior to proceeding with your payment. You may choose between the following delivery methods:

Courier to Major Cities (within South Africa only)
Postage via South African Postal Services
Local Pick Up – you may wish to collect your goods yourself or alternately send your own Courier service to collect
Should you have selected the incorrect Courier Service, please note that the additional charges will need to be be collected prior to dispatch of the goods.

We will at all times endeavour to communicate with you as to the status of your order, particularly once the order is ready to be sent out.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

“BUTTON-BUNNY” cannot always guarantee availability of stock, but will endeavour in delivering a substitute item where possible and if authorised to do so by you.

If it transpires that “BUTTON-BUNNY” is unable to supply each and every item ordered or in the quantities ordered, you nevertheless agree to accept delivery and make payment for the items correctly delivered and “BUTTON-BUNNY” shall not be obligated to refund any amounts for items so delivered to you.
PAYMENT

PRICING POLICY

You will be charged with the price as it is listed for the goods on the site at the time of order, subject to availability.

All prices include Value Added Tax.

Special promotions may be subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, stock availability and limited offer stipulations.

Unless otherwise specifically brought to your attention by “BUTTON-BUNNY” in relation to a specific product or geographical area, a delivery fee will be charged for the purchase of any goods from the “BUTTON-BUNNY” site.

PAYMENT

“BUTTON-BUNNY” makes use of external payment gateways to process secure payments.

We are committed to providing secure online payment facilities. All transactions are encrypted using appropriate encryption technology.

Payment can be made for Goods via –

debit card;

credit card: where payment is made by credit card, we may require additional information in order to authorise and/or verify the validity of payment. In such cases we reserve the right to withhold delivery until such time as the additional information is received by us and authorisation is obtained by us for the amounts. If we do not receive authorisation your order for the Goods will be cancelled.

You warrant that you are fully authorised to use the credit card supplied for purposes of paying the Goods. You also warrant that your credit card has sufficient available funds to cover all the costs incurred as a result of the services used on the Website;

direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer: if you pay via direct bank deposit or electronic funds transfer, payment must be made within 5 (five) days of placing your order. Takealot will not accept your order if payment has not been received;

Instant EFT;

By submitting an order, it is hereby warranted that you are over the age of 18 (eighteen), are authorised to make payment with the Payment Card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the order.

If there are insufficient funds to pay for the order on your Payment Card and/or payment for the full order is not received, the goods will not be delivered.

If payment is cancelled for any reason or if your Payment Card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay to “BUTTON-BUNNY” the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by “BUTTON-BUNNY” relating to the recovery thereof, including legal costs on the Attorney and Own Client scale, interest and other collection costs.
